62 AALL SPECTRUM | WWW.AALLNET.ORG Q REFERENCE DESK BY SUSAN CATTERALL I am a research librarian for a mid-sized firm and my director recently approached me about initiating a formal CI program. I believe that I have already been doing CI in that I have worked BUSINESS EDGE for several years with our firm's marketing director, conducting research on clients and industries and other projects when assigned. I have also coordinated significant research for the C-level members of our firm. I'd like to put together a plan that would incor- porate some consisten- cy and best practices moving forward.
